Brunch with Santa

I took the boys to Blossom Heath on Saturday, along with Felicia to have Brunch with Santa. We truly had a great day. It was a good day to be inside where it was warm. We had brunch, watched Santa arrive by firetruck with the Saint Clair Shores Fire Department, danced, sat on Santa's lap, had balloons made by Oopsey Daisy the clown, and received goody bags, with some candy and trinkets. It was such a wonderful time and it really is amazing to see the 'Magic of Christmas' through a child's eyes. Luke may even be a local celebrity in this week's paper. He was asked to have some pictures taken, so we will have to watch for him in our local paper this week. Needless to say, Mom, Luke, and Logan all needed a very long nap afterwards.

Don't Blink You Just Might Miss It!!!

Logan is now rolling over. He rolled over for the first time November 26th. He either is so fast you might miss it, or he has to swing is leg over multiple times and gets stuck with his arm under his chest. I have to admit, I am a proud mom!!!

Snow Angel

This is a picture of Luke's very 1st snow angel. I was impressed by him and how quickly he learned and actually followed directions. He layed down in the snow and I moved his arms up and down and his legs in and out and then HE WAS ADDICTED. Aunt Marilyn's front yard was soon full of snow angels.

Just thought I would share a picture of all four of us, since they are very hard to come by these days.

Dashing through the snow...

We went up north to Roscommon to spend time with my Aunts' and cousin. We have been doing Thanksgiving in Roscommon for 3 years now, since my Aunt Marilyn moved back to Michigan. It is nice to get away for the weekend and spend some time with my family, since we do not see them very often.

Here are some pictures of the boys. You can see the excitement in Luke's eyes after seeing, "Big Bird". Also, a picture of Logan with his first bite of 'real' mast potatos. Aunt Carol is big on trying to sneak Logan food. I should have sent her his diaper on Sunday. She would think again about trying to feed him all that food. She just kept complaining about how bland the rice cereal is, but his digestive system just isn't ready for all the good stuff yet. Especially not a little bit of this and a little bit of that. And I have also included a picture of Logan in his 1st Thanksgiving outfit.

The kids enjoyed sledding outside. As long as the sled continued to move, Logan was happy. And thank goodness for teenagers. Yes, one pull down the driveway and I was out of breath. Thanks to cousin, Marshal for pulling the kids around.

Mommy and Me Class

Luke and I are taking a Mommy and Me class once a week during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season to teach him more about the holidays and to give us some one-on-one time. Luke made a placemat with pictures of some of the things he is thankful for, Daddy, Logan, his toys, food--more importantly Macaroni and Cheese!!!
